DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LONDON
On arrival into London, make your way to your hotel to check in. USe your open top bus ticket this afternoon to explore Britain’s cosmopolitan capital city. It is valid for 24 hours, and you have a choice of routes on the sightseeing buses, as well as a choice of three different walking tours and a cruise on the river.

DAY 2: LONDON
As your open top bus ticket is valid for 24 hours, you can continue to use it this morning to explore the great city. The afternoon is free to discover London on your own – maybe visit Harrods, the famous department store, or enjoy Afternoon Tea in an iconic hotel? There are many famous attractions to visit on your own, such as Madame Tussauds and the London Eye, so you will definitely not be short of options

DAY 3: LONDON TO YORK
This morning, make your way to Kings Cross station in London, where you will board a train to York. On arrival in York, make your way to your hotel. The afternoon is free to explore York on your own. The town walls and medieval lanes mean that the city is best explored on foot, and make sure to walk down the Shambles, the most famous street in York where the overhanging timber framed buildings almost touch above your head. You can use your voucher to visit the magnificent York Minster, the largest gothic cathedral in Britain, this afternoon.

DAY 4: YORK
Today is free to continue to explore York. You may want to take a river cruise or an open top bus tour around the city, or visit one of the many interesting attractions, such as Yorks Chocolate Story or Jorvik Centre. There is also the option to join a day tour to one of the two national parks in Yorkshire North York Moors or the Yorkshire Dales. (Optional activities not included)

DAY 5: YORK TO EDINBURGH
Return to the train station in York by own arrangements this morning, where you board a train for the short journey to Edinburgh. Sit back and enjoy one of the most scenic train journeys in Britain, as the train travels along the Northumberland coast, crossing the border into Scotland before travelling along the east coast of the Scottish Borders. Arrive at Edinburgh Waverley Station and make your own way to your hotel to check in. Head out to explore the beautiful capital city of Scotland, which is split into two main areas the New Town with its orderly streets and Georgian mansions, and the Old Town with its narrow lanes and mediaeval buildings. Your open top bus ticket is valid for 24 hours, so you can start using it to hop on and hop off one of the sightseeing buses this afternoon. Edinburgh is a vibrant city, with excellent shopping and restaurants, so you will not be short of things to see and do.

DAY 6: EDINBURGH
This morning you can continue to use your open top bus ticket to explore Edinburgh. You will also have a voucher for Edinburgh Castle, which you can visit at your leisure. Edinburgh Castle is beautifully situated on top of an extinct volcano with stunning views of the city. You can either use an audio guide (available in several languages) or take one of the guided tours of the castle in English, to hear stories of the One OClock Gun, the Scottish Crown Jewels, St Margarets Chapel and much more. There are several museums within the castle walls to explore, as well as cafes and shops.

DAY 7: EDINBURGH
Tour ends upon check out from hotel following breakfast this morning or extend your stay to continue exploring Edinburgh and Scotland. (B)
